Organization:
10x20 area. 4 players. 3 players with balls next to mini goal. 1 player across the area between red cones without ball.
Instructions:
(Non opposed)- Player A - firm pass across and races Player B- dribbles across as fast as they can- First player across opposing line gets the point. Next player in line goes once attacker is ready.

Coaching Points:
(1). Recognition of defender and space
(2). Weight of pass to back foot.
(3). Space in behind defender to receive?
(4). Speed of defender? Fast- beat them with first touch. Slow- small touches to bait them in.
(4). Disguise of pass.
(5). End result? Can you score? Do you need to dribble by the defender to score?
Progressions:
(1). Semi-opposed. Player A - passes across and becomes shadow defender. Player B and C- beat defender 2 v. 1 and go to goal. Players end up swapping starting positions- next player in line goes once attacker is ready.
(2). Opposed- Player A passes to Player B or C and play 2 v. 1 in the area. B and C attack the mini goal (score point for assist and goal) and A tries to win the ball and dribble across the opposing end line (point for A).
Regressions-
1. Player A can only move forward.
2. Player B starts play by dribbling in.

Organization: 30x30 yd area. 2 teams of 5. Play 3 v. 3 in the middle. 2 targets from each team as shown.
Instructions: Possession game. Use target players to keep possession. Count passes out loud. 7 passes consecutively = 1 point. Target players can move along the outside between cones of their shirt color. Example- Red target can move from red cone to red cone as shown.
Coaching Points:
Creating width in possession.
Supporting angles.
Movement after the pass.
Progressions:
(1.) Possession game. Rotate target players after each 3 minute round.
(2). Pass to a target and replace them.
(3). Play 2 touch, 3 on an interception.

Organization: 12x24 yd channels side by side. Organized as shown.
Instructions: A passes to B. B tries to dribble ball across opposing end line with control for a point. Coaches standing on outside of channel to be used for passing combinations. 1 v. 1 in the channel until point or ball out of play. Players switch lines.
Coaching Points:
1. Positive first touch.
2. Drive at defender.
3. Outside of foot pass for give and go
Progressions:
1. Play 1 v. 1 in the middle with nautral targets on outside as a +1 option.
2. Change teams around in each channel for new competition.
