Formation work 9 a side Attacking (20 mins)
Formation shape work 9 a side formation 1-3-4-1. Attacking
Set up - Attacking team 1- 3 - 4 - 1 v defending team 1-1-2-1 ( 8 v 4 ). Play starts from coach who acts as Central defender starts practice by playing into yellow defenders 1 or 2 who try to pass or run ball out of defending zone v 1 blue player. Blue player has to remain in defending zone. One defender can join in with yellow midfield to produce a 5 v 2 in midfield and try to create goal scoring opportunities using center forward as well. This will give attacking team opportunity of trying out different passages of play under some pressure. Once attack is finished coach starts the next attack, if blue defending team win ball , try to pass to coach to finish game. Attacking team could be conditioned with maximum of 3 touches and other conditions applied if needed.
