6 v 6 playing to Target (15 mins)
Playing into a Target (20 MINUTES)
- 25 x 15 playing area with poles used as gates
- Split into two teams of 6 players
- 2 players from each team stand in opposite corners and act as Target players
- 4 v 4 in central area
- Target players switch when receiving a pass from inside player
Coaching Points:
- Target players - call for the ball and take a positive first touch into play
- Central players - look to play accurate and firm passes into target players and make supporting run
- Central players - in possession - move the ball quickly 1-2 touch and look to switch play quickly when opposition are unorganised
- Central players - out of possession - win the ball back quickly. When opposition are in a corner (tight area) hunt in packs to win the ball back

- Blue team play 4 v 2 in zone furthest from goal - aiming to maintain possession

- If A and B win the ball - play into other zone to keep possession
- Red forward - combine with 2 other red players to score
