4v4+3 Rondo
Format is 4v4+3 as shown. Object is for team in possession (Red to start) to maintain that possession with assistance from the Jokers and play up and down the grid.
Coaching points:
* Quick decisive movement by the outside players and jokers, and the inside joker.
* Open body shape to receive.
* Defenders stay compact, move as a unit to cut off passing lanes
* Where to pass and weight of the pass: Away from pressure
* CM should be a bumper playing 1 touch passes where possible
* CM movement to support play or pull a defender away
* Speed of transition
* Good first touch
Play intensely for 5-10 minutes, then swap teams (blues go outside, Red come inside to defend). Repeat.
Progression:
-Rather than play for a fixed time, incorporate a transition: when defending team win the ball, they quickly distribute to a Joker, then swap places with Red and continue in possession until Red win the ball back.

7v7 (4v2 breakout into 6v5)
Objective:
Reds play 4v2 for 5 passes to break out and successfully play a forward pass into feet of front 3. Then game is 6v5 phase of play in attacking third.
Coaching points:
Positioning of wide players mus begin in outside channel to spread out defenders. Allowing AMs into half spaces. (Highligted in red)

4v2 Double Rondo (3 teams)
Objective:
Teams play 4v2 in one half to try and complete 5 passes and successfully transfer possession with a pass into team in other half for a point. Defending team for 2 minutes tries to win as many balls as possible for a point. When ball is transfered into other half, 2 new blues go in to press and two blues that were on, go off.
Coaching points:
* Shape of attacking team, use width and depth
* Movement off the ball to create constant support angles
* High tempo of possession
* Defenders stay compact, press ball and get in cover shadows.
Progressions:
2 touch. 1 touch.
Add one player from other team to join and create a 5v2.
