A different take on the transition game which features targets can be used when you have low numbers (who hasn't had that issue). 4 v 4 in a 20m x 25m playing area with a 5m enzone at each end. Teams attempt to play the ball into the endzone they are attacking to a moving teammate after successfully playing the ball they turn around and attack the other end. Play for a set amount of time or point total.
Purpose- Improve transitioning and speed of thought.
- Player cannot wait in the endzone.
- Players adjust their supporting position once the ball is played into the endzone.
- How fast can we transition after winning the ball?
- Can we play the ball forward?
