Warm up (20 mins)
1. Gk's beside each other and the coach throws the ball in the air. The GK has to catch the ball at the highest point, the other GK is to challenge for the ball as much as he can.
CP: The GK has to judge the flight of the ball and time his approach and jump in order to take the ball above his head at HIS highest point.
2. 1 GK stands 1 yd behind the other. The C throws the ball to GK1 and GK2 has to move around GK1 to catch or deflect the ball away from the area - 10 each side
CP: GK2 is moving at speed and trying to make contact with the ball and to get it as far away from the area as possible. We do not want to just 'pad' the ball but actually move it well away from the playing area in order to give the GK to get to his feet and recover.
3.The C to throw the ball on top of the 2 mannequins, GK to move out and challenge for the ball while moving through them - 10 each
CP: The GK is to be strong and brave with his movements and moving positivly for the ball, he is not to be scared of the attackers!! A good loud shout is need to try and put off the attackers
