equipment 1 large goal

4 v 4 players
drill starts with 4 v 4 keep possession game. keeper speaks to help the team in possession. player on, find space etc
play goes for 1 minute and coach shouts stop
team in possession is the attacking the team and the one without the defending team
2nd coach places a ball ready for a free kick in one of the 2 another zones. with a red marker showing 10 yards
keeper speaks to the defensive team and arranges the wall (using a wall of 4 if wider and 5 with a more central) using the line of the ball and the post as a reference. the coach behind the goal looks to check this is done correctly)
once the wall is formed the players are replaced by mannequins and a normal free kick is taken with the defenders now marking the opposition players and the keeper in the correct position in relation to the ball.
when the free kick is over. the 4v4 games starts in a different zone and the coach places the free kick ball in different zone. moving the cone to signify the 10 yards and the process is repeated.
