Layout for small games (10 mins)

3v3 or 4v4 games. Normal games. Looking at pupils using space and playing.

Numbers game with overload or underload. Group players into two teams in opposite corners of the pitch. Coach calls out two numbers. One number refers to a team in bibs. One number refers to non bids. Call out different numbers e.g. 2,3 or 3,1 and then play a ball in. Players join the back of the queue after each turn before calling out new numbers. Can play a second ball in play breaks down. Look at players assessing game situations in how they attack and defend. Are they in overload or underload? How does his affect their attack or defence? Try and get players to create 2v1's and use space.
