Organisation
6 poles are place around a full size pitch (as shown).
Players are divided into 2 groups and start in opposite corners of the pitch.
The exercise is conducted as follows -
- Both groups start on a whistle blast and sprint to the next pole, then slow jog the rest of the poles until they reach the start point.
- They then sprint for 2, jog for 4.
- Sprint for 3, jog for 3.
- Sprint for 4, jog for 2.
- Sprint for 5, jog, for 1.
- Sprint a full lap.
5 minutes recovery then reverse the runs - starting with sprint a full lap and work down.

Organisation
The next part of the practice consists of 2 parts.
Set up, is a 40x30 pitch with goals (on the right) and a similar sized area set up with various stations (agility ladders, mannequins, cones, hurdles etc) on the left.
This section comprises an SSG followed by the Agility Circuit x3.
How to Play
All players start on the pitch with the goals and play a 6v6 SSG for 2 minutes.
Goals can only be scored with a 1-touch finish inside the red line.
If a goal is scored the same team restarts with a ball from their goal.
After 2 minutes the players sprint to the second area with 1 team (Yellows shown) working inside and 1 team resting on the outside.
Agility Circuit
The players on the inside of the circuit work for 3 minutes continuously and can move anywhere around the stations.
After completing 2 stations, pass the ball to a player on the outside then sprint around him to collect the same ball then move onto another 2 stations and repeat.
