Shape organisation and movements in formation covers all the basic foundations of how we play and position ourselvs both in and out of possession. while the formation stays the same, the shape of the team can vairy based on who has the ball and where. these unoppossed movements with detail help to hardwire the shapes movements and angles that we face the more frequently.

Ball retention pattern
players involved follow their pass and assume the duties of the position. All players should have a basic understanding of what everyone is doing so they can understand the knock on affect of good and bad decision making.
timings of off the ball movements is key, more datails will be given verbally. as a rule of thumb its good practice to start your off ball movements as the ball is travelling before it gets to the player you're due to receive the ball from, dependant on the distance the ball has to cover.
this pattern promotes our team shape and involves the basic movements on and off the ball as well as sticking to our philosophy of playing a shorter more technical game with more interchanging an movements off the ball.
