Bigger target game now incorporating more movements and more to think about from a defensive point of view. Now we have to think about when, where and how to press, what type of press we are applying and moments on when to switch.
To progress we can now play more freely within the zones so longer passes can be played more directly from back to front.
To progress again we can then say that Targets can play from one side to the other again which will count as a goal. Team with least goals at the end can do a forfeit.

Game to finish off with. Specific focus on both teams defending man to man. If a player scores the person who was marking him comes off for one minute. Game continues. Team need to readjust accordingly. Losing team do a forfeit at the end of the session.

Part 1 (15 mins)
Simple practice where there are two target players at each end and two working players in the middle. The objective of the practice is for the player in the middle who is defending to try and man mark the other player in the middle and prevent him getting on the ball and working it forwards. If he successfully wins the ball back and plays to a target man he then becomes the attacking player. 3 minute games. Then switch with the outside players.
To progress it we can then say the target players can pass across to each other to score a point. (Goal)
The defender still has to think about marking his man but also about protecting the ball from going forward. This now makes us think more about distances and body shape rather than just aggressively following a man.
