Organisation: Same setup as the possession game.
Add a RED breakout line.
Blues score in big goal but if win ball in attacking 3rd = 3 goals.
Reds score by RB, DM or CM's dribbling over halfway line.
Reds only score when Blue 1, 2 or 3 cross red line into attacking 3rd.
(Don't let Blues know Reds can only score once 1, 2 or 3 have crossed red line)
Progression: Time limit for reds to score once blue 1, 2 or 3 cross red line. 3-5 secs.
Objectives: *Can Reds encourage Blue Mids to help press in attacking third?
*Can Reds recognise when blues have comitted to press and break out quickly?
Coaching Points: Same coaching points as possession game.
Open body shape, see as much of the picture as you can.
If under pressure can you protect ball until someone is availble or get out of it.
Energy and enthusiasm to help player/support player in possession.

RB sits wide between MID & DEF lines
CM's split on or over halway line
Movement off ball - Move as ball is travelling
- Move to receive or pull Blue player away to create space
Receiving - Control out of feet, first time pass, protect until pass is available.
