Technical Circuit:
Station 1 (Passing) :
Player checks off the pole to show feet, bounces the ball back to the player that played the initial pass in, gives an angle under the pole then takes a positive first touch beyond the pole to then play a hard 15 yard instep pass into the net.
Coaching Points: Body Position open, directional and positive touch and correct passing technique.
Station 2 (Possession):
5v5 Possession Game. To score points, players must either dribble in (1pt) or release a team mate into the end zone to receive (no defender can enter, only screen in the neutral zone) for 2pts. 30x20 (+5 end zones)
Coaching points: Encourage quick play in tight spaces, scanning out of possession and quick decision making.
Station 3: (1v1's)
1v1's to goal - Player next to goal starts with possession, plays into attacking player, game becomes live with pressure off his first touch. Attacking player scores (1pt) defending player wins possession and dribbles over end line (2pt). 4 min games, most points move up, least move down.
Coaching points: Quick to pressure ball defensively, attack space quickly offensively.
