Introduction of the Scoop Technique:
GK Coach will show the GK's how to do the Scoop Technique, then ask to repeat after him.
Progression 1: GK will scoop two balls with the coach giving which direction to go for (Coach can challenge by assigning a number or a color to a specifc ball)
CP:
-Keeping Head still and focused on the ball
- Shoulders forward over the hands
- Elbows slightly flexed to cushion the impact of the ball
- Palms open to face the ball with fingers spread
- Collapse the knees to the K position
- Emphasize leading with the hands bringing body weight forward
- As the palms make contact with the ball, scoop the ball into the chest bringing the bodyweight forward. Securing the ball

GK will perform movements within the white markers. Once completed the GK will then set at the end and the GKC will give the cue for the GK to go to a certain flat disc. To perform a Scoop save.
Progression: After the set the GKC will play a ball for the GK to catch in the W-Technique and then continue to perform the scoop save served by the other GK.

GK will perform W-Technique in middle then perform scoop save in transition.
Only Green Markers:
- 1/4 turn, scoop save
- 1/4 turn, shuffle to marker, scoop save in transition
- round marker, scoop save in transition
- start at post shuffle to first marker, scoop save, recover line, w-technique

Part B:
- GK will jog around in the grid. Coach will give a cue for the GK's to set in line of the nearest ball.
- GK will perform butt kicks. Coach will give a cue for the GK to pickup the nearest ball.
- GK will perform high knees. Coach will give a cue for the GK to scoop the nearest ball.
