Organization:
Line of cones 5yds apart. Each player with a ball, lined up as shown.
Instructions:
The pattern is to dribble up two cones, back one, up two, back one, etc. Players will go two at a time. First teach the inside cut. Then the V-turn. Players should be trying to match their partner as though the line of cones is a mirror. (So when one player is using is right foot, the other is using his left.) Change lines after you're done so as to work both feet.
Coaching Points:
- Use your body/arms to sell the turn
- Timing to lose the defender
Progressions:
P - Balls in one line only. Attacker is looking to lose the defender so as to cut across an open gate and get past the defender, if so attacker gets a point. Defender gets the point if he gets a touch or prevents attacker from getting across.

Instructions:
Purple attacks, red defends. The first two from each team go 1v1 with purple able to score in either goal. Keep playing until a goal is scored or the ball goes out and then repeat with the next two players. Switch attackers and defenders each round. Closer goal is worth 1 point, further goal worth 2. Keep total team score.
Coaching Points:
- Quality of first touch (Direction - towards goal, Weight)
- Awareness of defender's position
- Use body/arms to sell the inside cut as a fake shot
- Finish!
Progressions:
- Switch goals to other side (as in the right half, above) so as to work both feet.

Instructions:
Each team has two goals to score on.
Coaching Points:
Use quick changes of direction to fake shot on one goal and attack the second (unopposed) goal.
Progressions:
Change from attacking two goals on one side of the field to attacking opposite goals.
