Positioning Game – Transition
4 v 4 with 4 bouncers in centre of the pitch
Team on outside are in BP
Team on inside are in BPO
When ball is won by BPO side they must transition to the outside and retain possession (overload of 8 v 4 in BP)
BP side that lost the ball must transition into BPO in the middle of the pitch and win the ball back (4 v 8 in BPO)
3 x 2mins with a 2min break x 3
Rotate middle (bouncers) every 3min rotation.
Coaching Points –
No coaching points while in play due to conditioning
Drive the intensity and intervein during the players recovery periods

Conditioning Game-
4 v 4 (plus 1 x GK each side)
6 x 2mins x 3 with a 3min break between sets
Play starts at different ends at coach’s discretion
Players attempt to score in their opposition goal
Coaching Points –
Only give coaching points during designated break to allow conditioning
Technical habits
Drive intensity the entire time
If players are not working to expected level change then add restrictions such as all players in BP must be over the half way line to score or 2 touch etc.

Football Sprints –
3 x 10 x 2
Players get into groups of 3
Player A goes to striker
Player B goes to ball feeder
Player C goes to #7
Player B plays the ball to player C who sprints the 15mts to get to the ball then cross to Player A who has bent his run to get onto the crossed ball.
Rotate the roles to ensure all players go through the different roles
Players feed the ball to the #7 is the resting player

Drive the intensity
Drive the need for the correct weight of pass
Drive the intensity of the GK’s
