FROM AN OPPOSITION KICK IN
  • Y5 is on the Kick IN
  • Y3 is the deeper lying player with Y4 and Y3 taking up forward positions
  • B5 must be directly in line with their own goal to stop Y5 playing directly into the penalty area
  • B3 holds the centre line to cover any ball played in behind B5 but can go and press the ball if it is played into Y3
  • B2 is also central in relation to Y2 because if the ball is played to Y2, B2 can cover that distance to press Y2
  • B4 is also more central because if they get too tight to Y4 then that allows the space for Y4 to run into the penalty area.
