Title: Find the Free Player - Numerical Overload - Dribble to attract (8:10 - 8:30)
Organization / Activity: Circulate ball through midfield - 8's dribble to attract to create gap in opponents back 4. 3 joins. Game is live when ball crosses into the scoring phase. Rotation - 8 dribble to attract to release 2/3
Coaching Script / Plan for Failure:
8:14 - 8's will fail to dribble at pace & at the opponent - Demo what this looks like and how it makes opponent make a decision, do I step? do I drop? Who do I mark?
8:18 - 8's will fail in their timing to release the ball to a team mate - discuss using deception early and not allowing the opponent to get to close.
8:25 - 2/3 will fail in their service meaning we will not get a scoring opportunity - discuss the three types of crosses and where your hips and shoulders should face after the cross.

8:38 - 9's will fail to cut the ball back / square the pass to their strike partner / 10 arriving at the back post - Discuss simple technique, weight off pass with the 9 on the ball & finishing technique,, shoulder / hip position with the other 9/10

Aim / Time: Put players in a setting where they are using deception to shoot inside the box.
Activity / Organization: Players Play 1v1 plus bumpers within the box, bumpers inside the box have two touches (only play with their team) bumpers outside have one touch and are neutral. Four attempts pre player then we switch.
Notes: BVB & RG
RG = BA - one touch finish in box, Ella one touch finish in box, Boltov rebound one touch finish in box, counter attack Vic one touch finish in box. BVB = Boltov PK, Ella one touch finish front post, magoulas two touch finish in box. Discuss 'proactive movement'
Coaching Script / Plan for Failure:
7:59-Players will fail to shoot quickly when they have a clear sight of goal / coach 'if they ball has eyes' look to shoot & score. Discuss using deception to create half a yard to use the inside of your foot to pass the ball into the back of the net.
8:04-Players will fail to get across their man & attack the space at the front & back post before the ball is served / coach recognizing the moment of when the ball is going to be served in order to get away from your opponent to attack the ball in the box.
8:08 -Players will fail to hit the target when finishing the ball first time / coach landing on your striking foot with your hips & shoulders facing the goal.
