Attacking team has two touch maximum. T start, outside neutrals can only pass to play inside not to other targets
If defending team of two win the ball, they immediately play to their neutrals on the other side and transition to join them making it 5v2. Two attacking players will have to transition to the opposite grid to defend

Two teams play to goal with goalkeepers
The game focuses on counter attacking and helping players recognize when and how to make use of a overload situation. Adjust numbers and pitch size based on your group of players.
If a Red player kicks the ball out of the area or is the last person to touch the ball before it goes out (via a deflection) they must go and collect the ball. When the Red player has left the pitch, a White player takes the ball from the nearest cone to where it went off and dribbles or passes into play to restart the game.
The Red player retrieves the ball and places the retrieved ball on the vacant cone and rejoins the game
This means there is a constant overload and underload of players as they come and go. Can players recognize when and how to make use of the brief moment of advantage?

If a ball goes out of bounds, a new ball is played into the field of play by the goalkeeper of the team now in possession

SMALL SIDED GAME TRANSITION MOURINHO
30X50 or needed
Two teams, everyone has a number. During play, the coach calls out numbers for one team (ex. 1, 3). These numbers players have to sprint around a flag/mannequin before rejoining the game. The team in the attack is now numbers up and the team without the ball have to squeeze the field, get behind the ball, delay, prevent being scored on before their teammates can return

TRANSITION 8V8 (OR NEEDED) TO BACK TO BACK GOALS
Field size: Top of the 18 to the midline
8 attacking v 6 defending
Balls are placed in both goals.
The attacking team must get 10 (can lower number) passes to score a goal.
The defending team must get three-pass or connect with the teammate/ teammates on the other side of the pitch to gain possession.
If you score after 10 passes you get the ball back. If the defending team connects 3 passes or finds the teammate / teammates on the other side of the pitch they are now the attacking team and need to get 10passes before going to goal
Progression: If this is too easy for the attacking team, only keep one player of the other side of the pitch so it goes to 8attacking 7 defending players.
Objectives:
Help the players understand the advantages to winning the ball back quickly to maintain a higher field position.
Defending so the opponent can't connect to the other side of the pitch.
Speed of reaction to win the ball back before the opponent has time to get organized.
