Team Function: Movement

Zones: All Zones

Duration: 15 Minutes

Objectives: Ability to focus and maintain ability to pass and dribble while fatigued.

Emphasis: Speed of movement

Coaching Points: weight of pass, part of foot when dribbling

Organization: Set up 3 Stations Per group (red&white)

Equipment: Cones, Balls, Disc cones

Goals: Having players who can pass and dribble at speed while fatigued

Instructions: Players will pass then sprint all the way around the opposite line and sprint back to their line. Players will dribble ball to opposite line, leave it and sprint back to their line. Players will jump over hurdles then continue process on next set of hurdles. All stations will be continuous.

Ball Mastery (15 mins)

Organization: 4 Lines of 4 cones.

Procedure: Players from opposites sides dribble towards each other. One player from each area goes at the same time. Once players get to the top of the cones they turn then dribble back to the end of the line. Progress to players dribbling through the cones. Have relay races if the session begins to slow.

Coaching Points: Keep the ball close, dont kick the ball and chase. Every step a touch.

Progressions: Strong foot, Weak foot, Both Feet,
