3v3+3vs1 to goal, new balls played into blue every time. Need to release one of the advanced midfielders into the 2nd grid in order to score. As soon as ball reaches the 2nd box, players are free to go anywhere and the object is for the attacking team to score. If the defensive team wins the ball at any point, they immediately try to score on the 2 counter goals.
5 min matches, 1 min rest between for rotation as needed, 4 rounds.
Coaching Points:
- looking to break lines immediately and advanced highest midfielders
- use the max width given in to maximize gapes in defensive shape
- let advanced midfielders movement dictate secondary player movements and balance off of this
- risk vs reward with playing penetrating passes
Learning Interactions:
- install that attackers can dribble into the 2nd grid if possible
- install the idea of playing into the front 3 and running off that ball if goals are becoming hard to come by

3v3+3v3 to goal, new balls played into blue every time. Same starting point as activity 1, now no dividing line between boxes and front 3/back 3 are free to interact higher up the pitch. Defensive team still going directly to counter goals with no restrictions.
5 min matches, 1 min rest between for rotation as needed, 4 rounds.
Coaching Points:
- looking to break lines immediately and play penetrating passes if possible
- have 1st touch and body shape open up all options to play everywhere
- look for advanced triggers and movements that dictate easy decisions for deeper players
Learning Interactions:
- install that there must be at least 1 player from each team remaining in the initial area to balance game, make realistic

11v11 full sided match. 20 min match, 9 min halves, rest as needed.
Coaching Points:
- looking for installation of forward thinking play from midfield 3
- specifically looking for movements to open up spaces further up the pitches and gaps within the opposition

Warmup (20 mins)
3v3 (2 grids, separate games), new balls played into lowest player in the triangle. 3 min matches, 1 min between matches, 3 matches total.
Coaching Points:
- looking for balance as a group of 3
- body shape of 8/10 to open up options for 6 on the ball
- play forward whenever possible and eliminate defensive players
Learning Interactions:
- install that the 6 (or deepest of the 3) must be on the defensive half/goal side on opposition to 10 in order for goals to count in order to install balance between the midfield group
- install that the whole group of play must be beyond the half line as if they were pressing/down goals in a match
