Driven Passing Pattern (15 mins)
Organisation:
- cb to rb/lb, lb/rb to rw/lw
Coaching Points:
- see where ball is coming from and where you want to play next pass (body shape)
- scan as ball is traveling
- touch out of feet to prepare driven pass
- when to drive on ground/in air
- when to play to feet/chest, or into space
- movement to prepare for 1 touch driven pass
Progressions:
- drive to feet/space
- 1 touch

Rondo (15 mins)
Organisation:
- 25x30 playing area
- 6v3 or 7v3 or 8v4
- 8 passes is a point
- defenders win ball and drive pass into goal on full for a point
Coaching Points:
- body shape
- timing of scan
- pass selection (when to drive, when to use instep)
- when to drive on ground/ in air
- plant foot toward target
- movement to prepare for 1 touch driven pass
Progressions:
- player takes 1 touch, next player has to take 2 touches
- short, short, long passing combinations
