Technical / SAQ
Organization: Add two small goals to the warm up.
Activity:
Players will dribble the ball (under control) through the same pattern. Once you have left the top doubles cones you will attack the one defender trying to play a pass into the small goal they are defending (Be sure to chase your ball). Mix up the dribble with different surfances (sole, outside, foundation, ets.).
Progression #1:
Same pattern through the cones but as soon as you reach the double cones at the top cross to the other side of the grid and attack the defender opposite your team. This will create a new look and a new opportunity to change your method of attacking the space.
Coaching Points:
1. Quick feet and tight touches while around the cones.
2. Know when you can take a big touch into space or when to keep the ball close to your foot.
3. Be creative on the turn out from the top cones. Mix your moves not doing the same move every time.

Technical / Tactical
Organization: Add a new line in what would be the final third of the original grid.
Activity:
Two small goals will be placed at the end of the field with the final third line approximitly 8 yards off the end line. The game is for the attacking player to attack the "end zone (attacking third)" and score the goal diagonally across from their starting position. As soon as the shot is taken he/she needs to recover on defense and try to defelect the new attacker and prevent him/her from scoring. One point is awarded for the pass being scored. If the defender wins the ball they can play a pass into the single goal opposite the goal they are defending.
Progression #1:
The attackers will now have the choice between attacking the goal directly in front of them or the goal across the field.
Points: 1 for straight across / 2 for across the field / Defender: 3 for single goal
Coaching Points:
1. Exploit the space with a big touch.
2. Use little touches when slowing down or when close to goal/defender.
3. Change of pace or a move when attacking the defender.
4. Defender - think about body position, show attacker away from the goal.
5. Defernder - think about recovery run towards goal rather than pressuring the ball right away.

Tactical (Small Sided)
Organization: Gird Size (20x25)
Activity:
Split the field into two halves. One goal at each end with a GK in goal. One side of the field will be 2v2 with the other half being 1v1. Add a neutral player who is allowed to enter both halves. Other players may not leave their half. Ball must be played into the halves and cannot be dribbled over. You are allowed to shoot from anywhere.
Coaching Points:
1. Decision making of when to dribble, pass, shoot.
2. Always be thinking about combination play.
3. Try to win your 1v1 battle.
