Warm up
15 minutes
Focus: Dynamic movement with emphasis on coordination, change of direction, creation of space
Cones set 20 meters apart, 10 meter space in between
Players without ball:
1. 2 players on either side, jog toward each other, feint left go right, jog to other side
- incorporate movements - high knees, side shuffles
2. Progression - players sprint, slow down to perform fake, sprint
3. Progression - add ball
With ball, players doing shuffles (tick tocks) as fast as possible. On coaches command, they kill ball, sprint to opposite side. Next player immediately begins shuffles as soon as player in front leaves.

Technical dribbling
15 Minutes
Focus: Dynamic movement with emphasis on coordination, change of direction.
Cones set 20 meters apart, 10 meter space in between
Players with ball:
1. Delay Dribble - players dribble at each other at speed. Before arriving at middle marker, player puts right foot on the ball. Using the sole of the foot, without putting right foot back to the ground, pulls ball all the way back to the start. Next player repeats. Use right foot for set time, then switch to left foot.
2. Players dribbling to the right side of the marker in the middle, place right foot on ball, perform V pull around the marker, accelerating out the left side to the opposite line. Next player repeats going opposite direction.

Technical dribbling
15 Minutes
Focus: Dynamic movement with emphasis on coordination, change of direction.
Cones set 20 meters apart, 10 meter space in between
Players with ball:
1. Players dribble at eachother, perform any fake, go to right of cone, dribble across, repeat. 2 minutes
Players dribble at eachother, perform any fake, go to left of cone, dribble across, repeat. 2 minutes
2. Progression: 1 ball, player dribbles toward middle cone performs fake, dribbles across, leaves ball for teammate. Then backpedals to middle cone, turns and sprints back to original cone. 2nd player repeats
Players start by faking right, 2 minutes, then fake left. Repeat 2 times per side.
End with fun competition: Final 4 minutes - how many times can you get from one side to the other.

Passing/Receiving
15 Minutes
Focus: Proper passing technique, proper receiving technique, movement off the ball
Cones set 20 meters apart, 10 meter space in between
1. Ball in hand, players sprint to first cone - underhand toss to teammate, backpedal to original cone - 1 minute - focus is on the movement to meet the ball, and quick back pedal back
2. Ball at feet - players now dribble, perform same movements
3. Ball at feet - players dribble to cone - perform move, pass to teammate - move diagonally to next line
incorporate movements when running diagonally

1. weight of pass
2. receiving technique
3. changing direction after passing

Final Game
If numbers are manageable, play 5v5 to end session.
20 Minutes
Coaching points, when attacking with numerical advantage, attack at speed but not too quickly where teammates can not get into position. Use numbers.
