MANY TIMES THE BALL GETS STALLED IN THE MIDFIELDER'S FEET WHILE THE DEFENSIVE TEAM HAS FALLEN BACK AND COMPACT. IN ORDER TO BREAK THIS LAST LINE, MIDFIELDER'S MUST BE CREATIVE. THIS PASS WILL ALLOW THE OPTION OF GOING OVER THE LAST LINE.

Organization: 40x50 yd area. 2 teams of 6.
Instructions: 2 players from each team play as target players and can only go up and down touch line. Team scores a point by chipping into the target's hands.
Coaching Points:
(1). Recognizing option A
(2). Movement off the ball (width) to open up the lane to option A
(3). Weight of the pass to beat the defense.
(4). Movement of supporting player to find passing lanes.
Progressions:
(1.) Chip ball into hands of target player and get a point. Next ball starts from team that scored.
(2). If team completes 5 passes and scores by playing into target = 3 points.
(3). 2 touch. 3 on interception

Organization: Leave red boundary markers and remove all other equipment from conditioned game. Play 6 v. 6. Play to Coerver goals if available.

-13 cones. 1 area setup cones staggered 3 yards side to side, front to back. 1 area setup cones in line with 1.5 feet spacing between cones.
Instructions:
- Go twice through each time. Switch lines after each run through.
Coaching Points:
- Running the knees and light on our feet not stomping down. Balance and control of body.
Progressions:
Cone line:
(1). 2 feet in each
(2). Weave through shuffling side to side.
(3). 2 forward, 1 back through end.
(4). Around each cone figure 8s through the end.
Staggered:
(1). Side to side shuffling.
(2). Hopping 2 feet 1 forward, 1 back to the side.
(3). Hopping with control 1 cone to the next side to side (slow).
(4). Side to side but run around each cone.
