DESCRIPTION. What happened...

Using 17 players and 1 goalkeeper.

Session was enjoyables and players were energetic and enthusiastic wanting to score goals.

The patterns that we worked on didn't always work as both understanding of trigger points and the pitch surface sometimes effected the quality.

Feelings....

Before: I felt the session would go well as its an attacking session and the fact that the emphasis was on scoring would excite players

During: Session worked with different patterns occuring and this showed imagination and decision making from the players.

After: I felt the session worked and there was a lot of success.

EVALUATION.

Good.. Players movement and quality of passes was very good. Angle of runs were good, but could have been better.

Bad... The surface wasnt very good and at times it took an extra touch to get ball under control slowing the movement down.

Analysis... How I influenced session.

By giving ideas and freedom for players to make forward runs.

Sowing several patterns but then letting players use imagination and expressing themselves.

Conclusion..

Session worked well. The focus on key players with the function helped the understanding..

Action Plan.

Next time I deliver the session I will make it into a 11v 11 game

Limitations.

The session didnt have any real limitations.
