Turning (Opposed) =
GOAL: Turn with the ball with pressure from behind. Player (A) is a support player and is one touch, this player must stay on the line but can move up and down to create a better support angle. (A) plays the ball to player (B) who has defender (1) behind. (B) has two options to try and turn and take on (1) or play pass to player (C) Once the ball goes to (C) player (B) can join into that area to create 2v1. Defender (2) is locked on the line until player (C) receives the ball. Player (B) + (C) try and score by stopping the ball in the end scoring zone.
All defenders are live and try to win the ball. If the ball is won, then every player (B, C,1,2) is freed from zones and defenders try and score in mini-goals. Player (A) can be used as a bounce player but still one touch. Coaching Points - Check shoulders before receiving the ball, have pictures of where 5 elements are / correct body shape on receiving the ball, use of arm and body/ Decision around using skill or passing the ball.
