30yd x 40yd areas; 5v2 adjust by roster size
Ball is played into an area, 2-opponents cross the halfway line and defend. Ex: 5 v 2 If 2-defenders win the ball they keep possession by playing the ball across; possession changes sides. After playing for 5-min, add following incentives;
1) 5-Consecutive Passes = 10-Burpie penalty to opponents.
2) IF opponents win the ball and play it over to teammates successfully, their pass count BEGINS where opponents ended. IE Red made 5 passes before Yellow intercepted & played across to teammates. Their pass count STARTS at 5-passes! Same penalty (10-Burpies) apply.
Coaching Points
1) Do players vary movement and speed to receive, create space &/OR decoy runs?
2) Is the ball played quickly BEFORE defensive principles are established?
3) How well does attacking team continue passing principles when going to goal?

Coaching Points
1) How good is player awareness of colleagues, space, defenders & the ball?
2) Are players gravitating to confort zone positions? IE, Not taking risks / scared of failure?
3) Does speed of play (ball, player & space created) break pressure and retain possession?
