12 Players - 4 defenders 8 attackers

10x10 area inside a 25x25 area

Balls on the outside

Reds play possession in the middle vs 1 blue player. When blue player wins the ball they play to one of there team mates in the 25x25 then this transitions to a 8v4 defenders try to win the ball back. When successful the ball rests with attackers.

Targets

Win the ball back at the right time (dont force)

Have the right defending shape - Pressure cover balance - Important in a big area and when outnumbered

Challenges

Can the defending team create traps

Can defending team win the ball back in under 6 seconds

Progressions

Once defending team won the ball can the regain possession in the square

Add another blue into the 10x10 quiker/more transitions

Key points

Defenend together, not 1 player chasing the ball

- Force team into an area easier to win the ball

- If split regroup look to get shape first the defend
