Playing out Phase of Play - 40 minutes
Primary - 1/5/6/4 (Breaking first line of Press)
Secondary - 2/3/8/10 (advancing behind second line)
Tertiary - 9/7/11 (Breaking into advanced areas to break defensive line)
4-3 formation for Blues
2-3 formation for Reds
Starts with the ball in the middle area 3v3 with the blues in a possession game
When the blues hit 8 passes they can look to break out and play normal rules but into gates at the end of the pitch
If they don't break through wide channels they can look to play into mini goal which simulates the pass into Hollie
On the other hand, if reds win ball in possession game they can open up and look to attack the goal
Throw ins and goal kicks only, otherwise ball is dead and possession starts in middle again
Coaching Points:
Centre backs split from goal kick
Full backs look to push back their wingers if possible
Central midfielder looks to come for ball
Quick passing combinations (out to in)
Body shape to receive pass depending on pitch geography
Cm who drops in looks to receive on front foot then centre back pushes into full back or 8/10 for combination there
Speed of pass and accuracy is key
Movement off the ball to not hide
Don't force the forward play can always use overload with keeper to find another solution
Create overloads out wide to break free the full back behind the opposing winger

Coaching Points -
Look to play through areas with speed and precision
Can we play 1-2 touch within confined areas and be sensible when more time on ball
Lets look at getting the nearside full back behind the winger to create a 2v1 vs opp full back
Defence shifts over lep and beyonce screen and keep ball alive
Milly to provide a 10 presence
When we get at the full backs can we be aggressive and get into the box
