Organization:
Diamond of cones (12 yards long, 8 yards across)
3 players per group
1 soccer ball per group
Instructions:
Pass the ball from one end of the diamond to the other via the middle player
Middle player makes 5 end to end completions, players switch positions
Coaching Points:
Receive on the back foot to travel towards target in 1 touch
Ball out of feet on 1st touch to get head up
Quality of pass
Movement around central cone (checking towards ball)

Instructions:
Now players are free to pass in any direction
Every time a player receives the ball, they must have support on their left and right
Play for 2 minutes - the ball cannot enter the middle of the diamond

Movement as the ball travels
Passing towards the back foot of receiving player
Passing with correct technique
Head up after 1st touch

1 soccer ball per group
Instructions:
- 3v1 game, attackers can score the goal that corresponds to their position (left, central, right)
- Defenders can only defend behind the wider red cones (ie. intercept pass to goal)
Coaching Points:
- Move the ball quickly to unbalance defenders
- Use 1st touch to travel towards target
- Change direction and point of attack if forward option is closed by defender
- Support player on the ball using angles - sideways passes allow defenders to press and steal

Organization:
30x40 yard grid, each Player with a ball.
Instructions:
Players work in pairs. Set number of touches allowed. Player to misplay the ball, a point is given to the other player. Play for a fixed time, winners move up to play a new player.
Coaching Points:
- Players try to improve their touches (suppleness, control and foot-eye coordination) by juggling with different surfaces of their feet & body.
