Organisation:
Area - 12m x 8m
4 v 2 inc GK
Goal post behind GK
4 players aim to keep possession from the 2 defenders in the middle
Players set target for themselves for number of passes to gain 1 point
An extra point is given if the defenders are split by a pass
If defenders win the ball they can immediatley shoot against the GK
Coaching Points:
Team in possession aim to play quickly in tight areas looking for an opportunity to relieve pressure with a longer pass across the area
Encourage creativity and deception in possession to unbalance defenders
Defenders must press the ball and support the pressing player
Organised in defence, who presses and who covers
GK can press the ball immediatley once defenders have won possession to gather on the ground
GK must react quickly from passing player to shot stopper
Good and clear communication at all times

Organisation:
The defending Blue team starts by playing a long pass out to one of the three attacking maroon players.
The game is then 3v2 in the attacking team's favour. However once the ball enters back Zone 1, 1 recovery defender can join the defending team making it 3v3.
If the defending team win the ball or the GK saves but retains the ball that team attacks either one of the smaller goals.
Coaching Points
The recovery defender can only join once the ball is back in Zone 1 therefore the starting position of the attacking team is important. If the attacking team receive the ball on the yellow line and immediately cross it, it is not at speed making it easier for the recovery defender to make it a 3 v 3 game.
If the attacking team cross the line at speed the chances of success by exploiting 3 v 2 is greater.
Forward runs should not be in straight lines. Look to get inbetween the defenders to exploit space, depth and numerical advantage.
Powerful & accurate finishing
Good tempo and quick transitions if they occur.
