Per zone/group (half a class)
3 TeamsRelay:1. first player in the line dribbles to a cone turns and returns
2. first player on return stops the ball for the next in line to take control
3. Repeat
Scoring
1. each team will try to complete as many relays as they can within the 1 minute.
2. step it up and make it a race between teams
Intervention
1. After the first minute discuss with the kids the difficulties of turning with the ball
a. Question to kids: how can we keep control?
Suggestion: Slow the ball down when you are about to turn. Pull the ball back with the sole of your foot. (pull back) OR step over the ball and stop it with the inside of your foot.
Suggestion: using other parts of the foot to turn with the ball (inside or outside foot)
Suggestion: smaller touches
Suggestion:
2. After another minute or if they grasp the small touches to control.
b. Question to kids: how can we get to our end faster without losing the ball
Suggestion: Try a touch with your outside foot toe as you move quickly forward. (requires demonstration...)
Suggestion: Slightly harder touch on the ball. Just enough that it does not run away.

Per zone/group (half a class)
4 TeamsRelay:1. First player in each team will dribble into their square
2. Players proceed going through each square clockwise until they get back to their line. Upon return they swap with the next player
2. Repeat
Scoring
1. each team attempts to run complete as many goes as they can within the 1 minute.
2. Last team standing. Don't get caught by the player behind you, but don't lose your ball. If you are caught or lose a ball your team sits until the next round.
Intervention
Rehash the same interventions from last game.
Try to emphasise the need to keep control of the ball.

Game - Point collectors
Whole class
Field adjustment:
- use full field
- adjust markers to create gates/goals
2 Teams 8 ballsPoint collection:1. Split the evenly across the corners.
2. 8 players enter field from either corner
3. Players dribble through the gates to score points.
4. 1 minute to score as many points as possible
5. You cannot enter the same colour gate more than once
Relay
- Players cannot get more than 2 points
- Once players have 2 points they must return to their corner group to swap players
- Points collected don't count unless you return to your group.
Difficulty add:
- Teach to call out a colour/s
Colour could be bonus points or no points.
Intervention
Players need to be wary of their surroundings.
- the field has other moving players going different directions
- plan ahead where you are going to next.
- do you return with 1 point or 2.
