Zone 1 - Edge of the box in and around the 'D' - 4 in the wall. GK set up mid position between edge of wall and post (striker unlikely to get ball up over wall and dip under cross bar). Set up for shot round the wall.

Zone 1 - 20-30 yds out and wide free kicks - GK set up closer to edge of wall to protect free kick over the wall.

General Free Kick - Wall numbers
Zone 1: This is for free kicks taken form 0-30 yards out. The keeper is to set a wall depending on the location of the ball.
In Zone 1, tallest player is the second player from the edge. GK will line up that player on the post nearest the ball.
GK to stand mid position between edge of wall and post for free kick on edge of box. As FK moves further out adjust position to closer to edge of wall.
Zone 2: This is for free kicks taken from 35-45 yards out. The keeper should have 2 players front the ball and the defense should hold their line at the top of the 18 yard box.
Zone 3: This is for free kicks taken from 45-60 yards out. The keeper should have 1 player front the ball.
Zone 4: This is for free kicks taken 35-45 yards out, to the right or left side of the 18 yard box. The keeper should have 1 person front the ball.
Zone 5: This is for free kicks taken 45-60 yards out, to the right or left side of the 18 yard box. The keeper should have no one front the ball.
