Organisation: Set area per diagram
Activity:Player A passes to player B who makes deep run before making diagonal pass back to Player A who is running onto ball. Player A receives return pass and takes shot to score.
Coaching Points: Can Player A:
-Make quick timed run to 2nd post to draw defender out and create space in intended striking area, before changing direction to receive pass for strike
-Position self behind ball so to be onside, and to receive ball from in front (rather than inline with ball and receiving from side) to make striking ball easier
-Take positive 1st touch out of feet before so can shoot with 2nd touch; or strike 1st time if able
Technically: Ball out of feet and directional to target with 1st touch. Position of planting foot. Part of the foot, part of the ball? Follow through. Toe down on impact, pointing to target on follow through

-Take 1st touch to slow down (but not stop) ball if fast, and strike with 2nd touch, otherwise run onto ball with pace and strike 1st time

Organisation: Set area per diagram with a start line (green line in diagram) marked with cones.
Activity: Players will play 4v3 with a sequence of 3 passes. To start all players must be behind start line for the first pass which is a through ball in behind defenders. The moment the ball is out of play, or ball is saved, or goal is scored, the 2nd is released, then the 3rd. Attackers do not have to wait for defenders to set up, so if passers and attackers are quick then can catch defenders out of position. Rotate defenders, attackers and passers every 6 passes.
Coaching Points: For 1st pass can attackers make quick timed run to receive pass in behind to beat defender. For 2nd and 3rd passes can attackers find shooting lanes and create and get in good scoring positions.
Technically: Ball out of feet and directional to target with 1st touch. Position of planting foot. Part of the foot, part of the ball? Follow through. Toe down on impact, pointing to target on follow through
