Three Grid Game to Goals

• Team in the middle starts with the ball and attacks either direction. 
• Normal soccer rules (throw-ins, goal kicks, corners, etc) Can vary if needed
• If attacking team scores they get the ball and get to come out unopposed ("make it, take it")
• If defending team wins the ball they try and play in to the middle channel which is a "safe space"
• Team gets to hold the ball in the middle channel for a max of five seconds while the rest of the team gets numbers forward 
• Once a team enters the attacking grid, then the safe space is no more and defenders can enter if ball goes backwards into it

•                        Coaching Points
• Get numbers forward quickly in support. Hold the ball up for runs to develop
• Look to get in behind when possible with runs/passes
• Playing in front of defenders makes the game easy for them 
• Have players make runs/take up positions that replicate their positions in an 11v11 game
