group is split into 2 - if uneven number add a floater to go between both areas.
Aim is to keep ball for 5 passes to earn a point - if defending team win ball back they must look to transfer quickly back to their team, who can decide to keep the ball or look to score within the first 2 passes.
Coaching points:
always moving to give support to player on the ball
T2D - how quickly can we win the ball back - cut off passing lanes.
inside man - can we stay on half turn to switch play to the other side quickly?

3v3 + 2 - all in, one touch finish
Can we look to play off the end man to score?
Decision making - when to play forward/support/ when to recycle

Progress to using both end men, in front to play forward & behind to retain possession.

Formations: 1-4-1-2 (wide players)V oppositions 1-2-1-3
Phase 1 - opposition have free play to attack, with one condition - 3 touch play & everyone must get a touch before a shot on goal - transition to defence when ball is lost.
Phase 2 - GK, back 4,1 cm & 2 wide players look to keep controlled possession to build into opposition half and create chances to score
Coaching points: Calmness & passing accuracy
Support quickly behind and infront (angled)
Awareness - scan & give information to team mates (communication)
Create overloads - eg wide players drop into pockets to support

pattern warm up
patterns to begin - ball played inside, player checks off mannequin and plays opposite side to the side they've received from (back foot, front foot) player at end who receives can dribble home at pace. Process repeats itself, but next player must receive on opposite side to ensure both sides and both feet are used.
Progress to outside man timing a run and ball played in front of him (eg no 6 - FB)
Coach points:
Movements to receive - check and drop - time it, don't be too early
back foot front foot - moves the ball quicker
