4v4 + Goalkeepers Shooting Game
When a team scores x number of goals, the losing team switches with the team waiting on the side.
Team that is switching in carries the ball in, simulating an attacking transition.
Coaching Points:
Team switching in should look to attack using the same principles in transition: width on both flanks with the striker looking to carry to a side that may create an overload
.If teams are not switching fast enough, lower the amount of goals needed to switch teams.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
A new ball is thrown into play at every stoppage. Objective is to allow for several transitions and ball turnovers.
Coaching Points:
Team with overload should look to attack like they would in a game: wide player and striker overloading one side while the opposite wide player holds width.
Team with underload should look to transition like they would in a game, which is similar to how they would attacking possession, except slightly more direct with passes into space.
