Y passing (10 mins)

Player 1 passes across to player 2 who fires ball into the first striker (3). Striker 3 moves one way to go the other and lays ball off to player 1 who runs across and plays ball into the second striker (4) who lays it off for player 2 who runs across to pass into player 5.

Encourage strikers to feint one way and move a step to the other side to lose defender.

Progress by having player 2 fire ball into player 4 bypassing the first striker who spins and receives lay off from second striker. Player 3 then can pass to either player 1 or 2 wo makes overlapping run

Striker movement (10 mins)

Strikers 2 and 3 set up as if they would in a game playing no more than 5 feet apart. Player 1 looks to play in first striker but player 2 feints one to go away from the ball then allows ball to run by him and shoot from layoff from player 3.

Same set up with strikers but this time player 5 moves towards the ball and then opens up on himself and receives lay off from player 6.

Can progress by having an overlapping player receive a layoff from second striker and cross for both strikers to attack. Encourage second striker to spin incase of rebounds

Zonal striker game. Can only score once th eball is played into a striker. Midfielders can support striker but only after ball has been played into their zone
