Organization: Every player must have a ball. Set up about 8 different gates as pictured above. Players
must follow a zig-zag pattern.
Instructions: First player will start dribbling, throught each gate following a zig-zag pattern. They must keep the ball close to their feet, and make sure to be using both feet. After they've gone through all gates they must get back in line and repeat the drill and wait for progressions.
Progressions:
1. Instead of going through the middle of the gates, players will now have to dribble through the outside of gates.
2. After dribbling through outside of gates, they must now cut back in through the middle of the gate and go to the next one.
Be creative with progressions.
Coaching Points: Head up while dribbling. Keep the ball close to your foot. Change of speed after cutting through gates, and slowing down when approaching a gate.
