DESCRIPTION/ORGANIZATION:
2 Cones placed 3 yards from the top of the penalty area, even with the goal posts
1 cone placed 12 yards out from the middle of the 2 cones
1 point if the keeper saves a shot without bouncing
3 points for a goal
Players always rotate 1-2-3-4
1) 2 starts in the middle of the cones and fades backwards to a cone in an open body shape
2 receives the ball from 1 on the backfoot and takes a preperation touch to set up a shot with the same foot
2) 2 starts in the middle of the cones and fades backwards to a cone in an open body shape
2 receives the ball from 1 on the backfoot and takes a preperation touch to set up a shot with the opposite foot
3) 2 starts in the middle of the cones. 1 plays the ball into 2 and 2 cushions the ball for 1 to move onto. 1 takes a preparation touch that breaks the cone line, and shoots before the penalty box. 2 follows the shot for a rebound.

Fundamentals of shooting
Preparation of body (footwork, balance, efficiency of movement) and ball to shoot (location and quality of first touch)

DESCRIPTION/ORGANIZATION:
*5v5 GK Flying Changes to 2 big goals
*36 wide X 28 long yard field
*Game starts with 5 attackers from one team and 5 defenders on the other half
*If the ball is scored or crosses the endline the defending team is off and 5 new attackers immediatly join the field
*If the ball goes out, new attackers from the other team join the field
*Balls always start from the same cone
-1 point for scoring in the other teams half
-3 points for scoring on your own half
COACHING POINTS:
*Attacking mentality - thinking shot as your first option whenever you get the ball
*First touch and footwork/body preparation to execute shot
*Receiving ball faced up or on half-turn to be able to shoot
*Creating/finding space away from defenders to receive the ball to finish
*Using laces and proper technique for long range shots

4 v 2 Long Shot on Goal
DESCRIPTION/ORGANIZATION:
*5v2 in penalty box size grid (12 yd wide x 24 yd long) at the top of the actual penalty box - players restricted to highlighted grid
*Numbers up team scores to full size goal and numbers down team scores by dribbling across the endline opposite the goal.
*New ball starts from the top of the box when ball is scored, saved or goes out of play
*rotate goalkeeper and numbers down players with numbers up team every 2-3 minutes
*set up 3 fields
COACHING POINTS:
*location and distance of 1st touch to set up shot with touch-step-strike rhythm - out from under body and slightly to the side of the foot you plan to strike the ball with
Fundamentals-
*look up to find GK and determine location for shot *approach angle - more angle to loft, less angle to drive/spin
*non-kicking foot slightly behind and to the side of the ball - further away to loft, closer to drive
*knees bent
*contact surface on foot - laces for driven, laces/inside for lofted
*ball contact location - middle of ball to keep ball on ground/low, bottom half of ball to lift
*eyes on ball when you strike it
*accelerate through contact with ball to generate power/increase passing range (use of upper body/arms for balance, proper backswing)
*follow-through - towards target
