Small Sided game 2 (10 mins)
Set Up
- Take away the cones and leave just the pitch
The Small Sided Game
- Add a points system to encourage shooting
- 1 Point = Shot 2 Point = Shot On Target 3 Point = Goal
- Progression - again add a time limit to get a shot away if not enough shots are being taken
Objective
- The players now have more freedom to shoot from wherever which should result in more shots, however the points system should encourage more care with shots to get them on target.

Small Sided Game 1 (10 mins)
Set Up
A standard pitch with a line of cones across the pitch on the edge of both penalty boxes. Split the players into 2 even teams.
The Small Sided Game
- Players have to get past the cones before they can shoot
- When the ball has passed the line of cones they only have 3 seconds to get the shot away
- Progression - If not enough shots are being taken add the rule a team only has 10 seconds to get past the cones to get the shot away

- This should encourage direct football which should result in more shots
