The CHASE
Divide into groups of 4
A and B stand back to back
C shouts GO and both players head in opposite direction
A collects a ball and tries to score over opposite goal line
B runs round back cone and tries to tackle the ball away from A and take it over the start line
Focus on technique:
Angle of body approach to channel player away from goals and stay on strong stick
body positioning important
Left foot, left shoulder forward, low to the ground when making the tackle

Numbers Game
1 coach per 2 pitches which run at the same time
Players on both teams given numbers 1-4
Ball in the middle of the pitch, coach calls a number from 1-4
Both players from each team race around the end cones, first to cone tries to through goal (G) to score
ADD: Coach can call 2 numbers

4v4 Game with tackle focus
Each player has a number, they may only tackle their opposite number
Encourage use of variety of tackle-styles to gain confidence and learn which tackle should be used when.
3 connected passes per team = opportunity to dribble ball through set of cones to score a goal. Encourage change of speed of ball carrier, breaking away from defender
