Objective: To break down 1v1 moves and get 100 touches on the ball in 20-30 minutes.
Instructions: Each player will dribble and execute a move when coach commands.
Time/Rest: 4 minutes work, 1 minute rest/instruction. Total time 20-30 minutes.
Emphasis: Using all parts of the foot, feinting using dipped shoulders and bent knees.

Objective: To beat a defender in a 1v1 situation.
Instructions: Red player passes ball across field to a Blue player. Blue player must dribble through the gate maintaining possession to earn a point. If Red player wins the ball, he/she becomes the attacker and can score. Each player goes 3 times, then switch attackers and defenders.
Time/Rest: 1 minutes work, 1 minute rest/instruction. Total time 20-30 minutes.
Emphasis: Positive 1st touch to a direction. Use moves to unbalance the defender, change directions, attack with speed and under control.

Objective: To use 1v1 moves in a small sided game.
Instructions: Two fields 20 long x 15 wide. Teams 3v3. Field 1 use small goals (pug), players score by shooting in small goals. Field 2 use cones as goals, players score by dribbling through the goal (cones). 10-12 minute games, then switch players onto other field so both groups get to play on both fields.
Time/Rest: 10 minutes work, 1 minute rest. Total time 20-30 minutes.
Emphasis: Using Coerver moves in a game. Stop play, restart with players doing a move.

Coerver 1v1 Moves (30 mins)

Instructions: Each player will have a grid of 3x3 yards. Start with toe taps and bells. Coach demonstrates feint and touch move. Players execute that move in their grid. Next demonstration is the scissors move.
