Aim - teach role of first and second defender and They sub principles
Progression- Player A plays to B and play 2v2 line soccer, Coach plays to player A or B and play 2v2 line soccer.
Rules - If player wins ball in half of opponent and scores 2 pts, own half 1 point. No tackling or sliding. Coach calls off-sides
Sub principles (not all in this session)The closest player needs to put pressure on the ball
Distances between players (horizontally and vertically)
Pressure from the right direction (force the attacker to go where you want them to)
Other players recognizing how this pressure affects their positioning (pressure, cover, balance)

Aim - work with defending team with 4 on They items from 1v1, 2v2 and build up to 4v4 inlcuding layering in infrom from below.
Rules - Call off sides in the entire half, team defending goal plays a high line, keeper defend space, team attacking zone dribbles in or plays to a player who recives in zone. No tackling or sliding.
