Session Organization:
Teams of 6 players Red vs Blue
Explanation:
The game is directional.
3 players from 1 team start with the ball at one end (Blue), whilst 2 players from the opposing team start as defenders (Red).
The team in possession attempts to score a goal in the goal at the opposite end to which they start and the defending team attempts to prevent them.
If the defending team wins the ball they have 30 secs to try and score.
Once a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play the turn is complete, another member from the defending team enters the grid to form a 3v2 against 2 new members of the opposing team who now become the defenders.
The initial 3 attacking players leave the grid and return to the starting area.
Continue for 3mins, rotate players and continue.
Progression:
Impose a time limit to score.
Minimum 2 touch per player or max touches per player or number of passes required OR 3v3, overlap, give and go before shot
Evaluation:
Use of body to protect the ball.
Communication.
Movement with & without the ball.
Teamwork.
Weight of pass.
1st touch.
Movement and timing of runs.

Instructions:
- Regular rules
- Keep count of victories and make it competitive
- Winner stays on, 3 pts/win & 1 pt/draw
- Bouncer players 2 touch - 2 on each side
- Winning team stay on and get new ball from coach (transition from bouncers)

RWB Relay (15 mins)
Session Organization:
Grid 20 x 30 with a 4yard zone marked as shown at the 20 point. Balls, cones and pinnies. Players split into 3 equal teams.
Explanation:
Drill is a normal relay race where each play in turn has to RWB up and back and the first team to complete the race wins.
The race begins with the first player of each team starting at Position A, they run to the cone collect their ball and proceed to RWB to the Drop Zone (AREA B), where they must stop their ball complete 5 reps of skill (toe taps, sole roles, inside/outside, scissors etc.), they then race out and around the red cone (C) back to the Drop Zone, collect their ball and RWB back to the start cone, where they stop the ball and run to tag the next player.
Repeat until all have completed, First team finished correctly wins.
Progression:
Set specific foot to RWB i.e. Left foot only, Right foot only, inside of foot, outside of foot etc.
Add in specific skills whilst RWB Step overs, Ronaldo turns etc.
Make FUN with high energy!
Evaluation:
Am I using the correct part of my foot?
Am I using the correct touch big for speed, small for control etc.?
Can I attack the space?
Can I get my head when RWB after each touch?
