Screen 2 (10 mins)

Passer (blue) plays ball into reciever (red) and presses quickly. (Then becomes reciever).

Reciever recieves ball either side of the cone. First touch needs to be a good one into space, before the passer closes down.

Aim for the first touch of the reciever to be towards one of the gates to either side. With second touch play into player on the other side of the gates. They then join the back of the line and become the passer.

Focus - improving on first touch when under pressure - where to go? can you fake? can you get away?

When recieving the ball, focus on the foot closest to the gate the player is aiming for, e.g: if the player's first touch is towards the gate on the right, the first touch should be with the right foot. (Try not to come across your body).

Screen 3 (20 mins)

5 v 5 on the pitch, 2 players from each team on the outside to play off.

To score you must recieve from a teammate, your first touch must take the ball through on of the gates. You can score in either goal and also from enter from either side.

Change outside player every time they recieve the ball. The teammate who played the ball into them then become the outside player.

First touch when recieving the ball on the outside - focus on it being a good one into space, away from opposition.
