Equipment per group: 4 cones, 1 football, Gov set up 2 lines

  • 2 touches only
  • Pass through the gate
  • 1st touch outside of the cones, touch cannot go further than the outside line, pass through their gate
  • First to 5 points, switch partners afterwards

Equipment: 2 x 9v9 goals, 3 green bibs, 3 red bibs, 3 orange bibs, cones

Rules:

  • Offside line (long set of cones) - use a high line
  • Can only score past the offside line
  • Play into floater to become the in-possession team

Coaching points:

  • Look to play in behind into the box - combinations and change of rhythm
  • Build patiently and speed up rhythm to create chances
Observations:
  • Hit target (pin) and use runs in behind - pass around the corner or set back?

  • To get in behind - SR + DP, DR + SP 
  • To change rhythm - 1-2 and lend passes
Groups:
