5v5 + 4. Replicating playing out with counter pressing. Teams play from end zone to end zone through the middle for points. Opposition can have 2 players press in end zones, targets can dribble out too. If pressers win it, they can score in goals for a point too. Play 5 min games, switching targets after each game.
Instruction points :
- dispersal (width & depth, good angles & distances)
- creating a +1 always playing out
- can we play to furthest player and combine off of them?
- body shape to receive
- bounce pass combinations to escape the pressure
- patience in possession! Move the ball to move the players

Passing pattern to goal. Fullbacks play a wall pass combination with attacking mid (8 or 10), then play into striker who bounces back to AM, who then plays into path of fullback in wide area. Fullback then delivers a cut back or cross to far post. As soon as shot is taken, opposite group starts their pattern. Coach puts pressure from behind on striker as he receives.
Instruction points :
- clean 1 touch combinations
- dismarking movement
- timing of runs (behind the ball)
- square up to goal and get shot down low to finish

Phase of play - playing out of the back. Small target goals to play into for red, blue can go to big goal. Switch up roles half way through. Blues will start by defending in a 4-4-2 formation.
Instruction points :
- 6 dropping between 2 blue forwards to get on ball or bounce back to keeper
- use of keeper & 6 for +1 building out
- 4 & 5 look to attract pressure by carrying the ball out of back when space is available
- if 2 or 3 get it they have to play quickly to combine to avoid press
