Organization:
Two spaces about 20x10 yards.
Players divided up evenly.
Instructions:
Attacking players start with the ball and attempt to beat the defending player 1v1 and score on the small goal.
Each rep both players switch sides.
Each goal is worth a point, teams compete to see who can score the most points.
If the defender wins possession they can score by dibbling across the attackers endzone.
Coaching Points:
Close the space quickly and at an angle.
As you get closer to the attacker slow your run and get sideways on into a defensive stance.
Close the space more once you have a good stance and look to tackle when the attacker shows the ball.
Can we test the defender, quick step at the ball to see if the attacker reacts.
Progressions/Regressions:
P - 2v1 for attackers.
R - Defenders play the ball to attackers.

Instructions:
* Kick-ins, goal kicks
Coaching Points:
* Can you create 1v1 opporunities by moving off the ball
* Can you turn and beat a player after receiving a pass?
* Have a picture of the field around you in your mind at all times.
* Focus on Penetration/Possession as a topic of play during scrimmage. Focus on when/where to turn to create chances to penetrate, or possess if the play is not on.
* Hips facing the middle of the park to keep a open body shape and be able to see maximum amount of the field
Progressions:
None
Varibles:
- If 9 players, play 3v3v3 tourny. Two minute games or first goal to rotate teams. Winner stays on, challenger gets the ball
- Teams sitting out can either rest, or coach can employ them as nuetral players along touchlines or endlines (bumper players)
- If 12 or more, put into 4 teams of 3 and have a tourny similar to above (based on space for play 4v4)

5v2 Warm-up:
Set-up: 10 x 10
Connect 5 or complete two split passes the two defenders stay in the middle stay in again
ii. Game to 7 points. Offensive team gets one point if they split the two or if they connect 10 passes. Defensive team gets one point if they complete a pass between each other.
Coaching Points: Passes are often not completed due to lazy supporting angles. If you see one of them not supporting the player with the ball then they go in the middle. There should be constant movement when playing this.
